In this WebQuest students will work as a group. When issues are complex or controversial, it makes sense to have more than one head working on it. As a member of the group you will explore Web pages from people all over the world who have opinions about desegregating schools. Because these are real Web pages we're tapping into, not things made just for students in classrooms, the reading level might challenge you. Feel free to use an online Webster dictionary or one in your classroom. Also, because anyone can post anything on the Web, it's probably best to look at all these pages as expressing opinions. It is your job to come to an understanding that you think is well-reasoned. To start, everyone in your group needs some common background before dividing into roles. Once you all feel like you have a solid background on The Little Rock Nine, then you'll divide into roles and each member of your team will become an expert on one specific aspect of the Question.
