Using your money.

Tuesday, October 23rd, 2007

As soon as you can try to get a job. Put some of your wages into a bank account for giving and another for you to live. If you are going to lend some money to someone, make sure they are going to give the money back. Use your money wisely. Don’t spend your money on things you don’t need.

Spending Money

Tuesday, October 23rd, 2007

If you saw something that you really wanted but it was a bit expensive for you maybe you could wait, it might go on sale after a while. If it dosen’t then you could keep looking i am sure that  there is something else that you will like. Try spending your money wisely, only on the things you need like food water and clothing, don’t go over the top with clothing though.

Saving/Spending Money

Tuesday, October 23rd, 2007

How I think saving/spending money should work is by spending your money on new clothes, anything you need, then that will last you a while. Then with your earned money, you can donate some, and save some. You should be able to save enogh for next time you need more stuff and donate some for the needy. Then the circle will go around and around again and its a win win!

Saving and giving money

Tuesday, October 23rd, 2007

We could start saving water and electricity to help the environment and save money so we wouldn’t have more money to pay in phone bills and such, that way we would have money left over to give to places and people like the disabled and the poor or to charity.

Saving Money

Tuesday, October 23rd, 2007

I think that we can manage our money by thinking about what we need first and then what we want. That way we can have some left over to either give to a charity or maybe save some toward goals such as buying an ipod. In doing this you will be getting things that you can’t live without but at the same time you will be happy.

Watching Affluenza really made me think. My children often behave just like this!!! Can you relate to what you saw in the affluenza video? How is your life similar to Erins and how is it different?

Choices

Thursday, October 18th, 2007

As an adult I earn a wage. I have lots of choices to make about where that money goes. Some of my money goes towards paying bills like gas and electricity for my home, clothes for my children and food for my family. Sometimes there is money left over. How do I choose what to do with it?

As a young person where does your money come from?

If you have your own money how do you choose what to do with it?
