Register to this Blog
First, you need to log-in to the blog so you are recognised as an “Author.” This means you can add as many posts as you like, even go back and edit them (you and the teachers are the only ones who can do this. Students can only edit their own words).
1) Click on the “Register” link in the sidebar.

2) Enter a user name that includes your first initial and last name. So someone named “My Name” would become “mname”. Note: you must be able to access your email to do this project.

3) Now you need to check your email. An email will come to you with your password. Sometimes it takes a few minutes before you get the automatic message so keep checking. Sometimes the message is picked up in your “Junk mail” folder. Finally, sometimes people mistype their email addresses and the message never comes.
4) Once you have your password (it will be a funny one you’ll change very shortly), it’s time to log-in. Go back to the Web browser where you entered your username and email address. Look for the “Log in” link on the last page you were act, or use the back arrow to get back to the main entry of the 2020 blog and look for the Log-in link.

5) Enter your username and the password you got in the email.
6) This gets you into the “Dashboard” which is the “behind the scenes” part of the blog. In the upper right corner of the Dashboard, look for “Howdy” followed by your username.
7) So that you can change your password to one you will remember better, click on your username. This take you to your “Profile” page. Scroll to the very bottom of the page and look for the two fields where you should enter your new, better password. Fill in both fields to make sure the password matches. Never share your password. This only invites problems that you could easily do without. Click Update Profile to save your new password. Next time you log-in, use the password you just double-entered.
